Riverside's TREEHOUSE Children's Ministry

Riverside Church takes its meaning from Psalm 1 “a tree planted by the rivers of water…” If the tree pictures the believers and families of Riverside, then the boughs of that tree represent the place where children rest, play and grow, all of which draw their life from the RIVER.

TREEHOUSE is a Bible-based teaching ministry to provide a creative environment for learning and growing on a path to know and love the Living God, His Son Jesus Christ, His Story and each child’s place in that story.

TREEHOUSE is led by our Children’s Ministry Director, her staff of caring and capable teachers and workers. All of our children’s workers have a heart to lead and teach children. Each worker has had a background check in order to serve in this ministry.

Much thought, prayer and planning has been given to provide a creative experience in Bible study for your children. Childcare for nursery-age children and ministry for your grade school children will be provided during the adult worship service. 

A Letter from our Pastor

Dear Parents,

Welcome to THE TREEHOUSE Children’s Ministry of Riverside Church. It is our privilege to have your child in our care while you are in the Adult Worship Service. I say Adult Worship Service because we believe it is important for our children to be led in worship, also.

From the moment you step on property we want you and your family to know this is where we come to refresh, learn, encourage and find encouragement to take the love of God to our community and world.

The love and study of the Word of God is at the heart of all we do and the basis for all ministry of Riverside Church. Your child will enjoy the creativity and care that we take to present the story of God’s love given to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

If you have questions please contact us and we would be glad to talk with you. I am thankful to be the pastor of a church that gives priority to the children’s ministry, and invests time, resources and caring leadership.
